When I wrote for my high school newspaper, I never lacked an outlet for expressing my opinions. After I graduated, I survived a few months without writing columns, but eventually I decided to end that madness. I began this blog so I could write about the elephants in my room — not my actual elephant toys and statuettes, but the opinions standing large in my head, as the saying goes.
I expect my columns to cover a range of topics, from literature to politics to elephants to family to anything that captures my attention and care. Every so often, I may even write about myself: a suburbs-bred girl who prides herself on loving her parents, forming long-lasting friendships and caring about the life around me. I aim to write magazine columns and children’s books one day, informed by the passions I’ll express here and elsewhere.
Have a gander ’round my site — I hope you enjoy my columns as much as I love writing them.
